First Milestone:

Demo Release

This will happen sometime during the next weeks. Hard to say exactly when as I still have to do the following:

  • Finish Steamdeck support

  • Do a bunch of QA on all the functionalities

  • Make 4 more songs for boss battles

  • SFX (right now, the only thing that has sound effects is the UI so I got a lot of work to do here)

  • Tweak the balancing

  • Write some more flavor text

During the Demo you might find the balancing weird. Maybe. I don't know. I am still struggling to decide whether the game is currently too easy or too hard. So I'll be looking forward to your feedback after you try it out.

What can you do in the Demo:

  • You will be able to progress the main content up to right before the final boss. So you will have access to almost everything.

  • BUT you will have a limited amount of runs to do that in. So you will not be able to finish all the side-content in the Demo. You still have access to some of it but not all.

  • You will have access to the 100 upgrades that are currently ready.

Second Milestone:

Full Release

This will happen on August 21. I am fully on track to finish the game by then.

What will the full release get over the demo:

  • More dialogue

  • More lore

  • 100 more upgrades

  • More bosses

  • More enemy types

  • Hopefully better art for side characters

  • Improved progression and combat balancing

  • Hopefully more music if I have time to make it

  • More side-content
