Version 0.7.3 – Field Command Update

This update puts more control in your hands — from building your army to directing units in battle — along with UI clarity improvements, balance changes, and important fixes.

Army & Recruitment

  • Army composition system reworked:

    • Generals no longer come with fixed starting armies

    • Each general now has a budget, allowing you to build your own army composition

  • Greater flexibility in choosing unit roles and strategies before battle

Tactical Command Improvements

  • Command system redesigned:

    • Commands now use dedicated buttons instead of toggling

  • Improved responsiveness and clarity when issuing orders

  • Overall optimization of command behavior during battles

UI & Feedback

  • Added more tooltips across the UI for better clarity

  • Improved feedback when using consumable items

  • Units can now be renamed, allowing better organization (frontline, flank, backline, etc.)

Gameplay & Balance

  • General balance pass across units and systems

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where selecting and placing multiple units during the strategy phase could fail

This update focuses on giving you more control — how you build your army, how you command it, and how clearly the game communicates your decisions. More content and improvements are on the way.
