Version 0.6.0 – BATTLE MAP OVERHAUL
This update focuses on new content, visual clarity, AI improvements, and a big round of fixes based directly on player feedback. Thanks for pushing the game forward with us.
New Content
New units added:
Spiders
Banner Man
Bow Cavalry
New Sigils added, including new types of sigils with fresh effects.
New battle map layouts introduced for different battle types.
Weather effects added to battles.
Day / Night cycle updated with improved visual and gameplay impact.
Hill tiles added — grant bonus range and accuracy.
Victory celebration added — confetti and fanfare when you complete a run
Visual & UI Improvements
Unit icons updated after feedback that previous images were too dark.
Unit stat icons updated for better readability.
Multiple UI refinements and layout adjustments across the game.
All perks (including passive ones) are now shown in the unit panel.
Outlines added to units to improve battlefield clarity.
Gameplay & Balance
Full game rebalance pass based on community feedback.
Ranged unit AI improved — units now reposition when too close to their target.
Trebuchet AI improved:
Increased and corrected attack range
No longer moves toward targets
Wagon behavior fixed:
Now heals properly
No longer approaches enemies
Items can now be discarded in exchange for small money, adding more inventory control.
Map & Progression Fixes
World map node layout and distribution fixed for a smoother experience.
Fixed an issue where units could get stuck between mountains.
Fixed a bug where reward units were not shown properly.
Battle & System Fixes
End-of-battle management fixed and stabilized.
Fixed a bug where dead units sometimes appeared standing idle on the battlefield.
Fixed a command issue where units could get stuck cycling between defend and flee after fleeing.
Fixed a bug where resources were sometimes not removed from inventory when used.
Fixed an issue in fortress battles where doors would not open in some cases.
This one’s a chunky update — new units, clearer visuals, smarter AI, and a lot of long-standing issues cleaned up. More polish and content are already in the works.
