Bitter Harvest changes
Hi everyone,
Bitter Harvest 1.3 is now available.
This update focuses heavily on making the village feel more reactive, improving character depth, and adding more variety and atmosphere to the daily gameplay loop.
Here is everything new in Version 1.3:
NPCs Now React to Your Actions
NPC dialogue has been expanded significantly, and villagers will now react more dynamically to the choices and actions you make throughout the game.
This is part of a larger effort to make the village feel more alive and reactive over time.
New Inn Job with Selma
Beginning on Day 8, Selma will now offer you part-time work at the inn during busy nights.
This gives players another way to earn money.
Expanded Character Depth and Dialogue
Many NPCs now have new dialogue that explores:
Their personal lives
Their struggles
Their relationships
Their scandals
Their motivations
The goal is to add more emotional depth to the villagers and make your reactions to their secrets and scandals feel more meaningful.
New Mini-Game Music and Sound Effects
Four new background music tracks have been added, each tied specifically to a mini-game.
New sound effects have also been added to the cooking and crafting mini-games to improve feedback and atmosphere.
Improved Mini-Game UI
The UI for all four cooking and crafting mini-games has been updated for greater consistency and standardization with the rest of the game’s interface.
Thank you again to everyone who has continued sharing feedback, reviews, bug reports, and ideas since launch. A huge amount of player feedback is directly shaping these updates, and I’m continuing to actively improve and expand Bitter Harvest.
