Hi everyone!

First of all - thank you so much for your reviews, support, and feedback! Every positive review really helps my mental health, boosts Steam’s algorithms to show BIG LOOT to more people, and motivates me to keep working on the game ❤️

I don’t always have time to answer every question or feedback, but I do my best to read everything. And a huge thanks to those of you who already help by answering others in the community!

I’m already working on the next BIG update (0.3.0). A week ago I shared some details in Discord, but here’s a more detailed breakdown:

Update 0.3.0 will include:

  • Different small towns

  • A new type of location - BIG town, where you can buy and restore your own house. (In future updates, BIG towns will have even more activities.)

  • Restoring your house will unlock workbenches and new features, like repairing caravan modules, crafting without tools, and more

  • Balancing changes and item tweaks (for example, some items will finally be stackable 😉)

  • New items

  • Ability to delete saves

📅 Planned release: November 1–15

Future updates will bring:

  • Quality of life improvements (like crafting directly from the caravan)

  • New biomes with fresh activities, mechanics, and dangers

  • Expanded adventure cards (elite mobs, debuffs, exclusive loot)

  • More items and crafting options

  • Combat and enemy behaviour improvements

  • Trading company expansion (hire caravans, choose your flag, name your company, etc)

  • Cooking system

  • Goblins and road dangers

  • Endgame content and lore items

  • Controller & Steam Deck support

  • Widescreen support

  • Technical improvements (new save system + cloud saving)

This is just a preview of the roadmap. Things may change based on feedback, and of course, I don’t want to spoil everything yet.

I’m still a solo dev (and still job hunting to pay rent, lol), but my goal is to reach 1.0.0 in 1–2 years, maybe even faster. I love survival games, I love BIG LOOT, and I’d love to keep updating it for years, just like the devs of Rust or Don’t Starve.

Thank you for being part of this journey! ❤️
