A strange and hostile rift has opened—a place beyond known space, where time itself feels distorted. The Echo Nexus is here.
This time-limited survival challenge will test your skills like never before. Once inside, you must eliminate all hostile entities before the exit point is revealed. There’s no escape until the job is done, and straying too far from the battle zone means certain doom.
The Nexus is home to mysterious new forces, unlike anything seen before. Their behavior is unpredictable, and their firepower is relentless. But for those who survive, elite rewards await. Fail, and everything you brought is lost to the void.
The Echo Nexus is not for the faint of heart - only the bold will claim its secrets. Will you rise to the challenge, or will the darkness consume you?
New
Echo Nexus Stage 1: The Fractured Veil – A manageable introduction to the Echo Nexus. Mild Shyv’Kahn resistance and limited Kahnite resources make this a perfect first step into the unknown. You can find Fractured Veils in rare drops.
New Ship: Eryth’Korath – A nimble and deadly Shyv’Kahn ship with no turret mounts. Its sleek frame is packed with powerful engines and integrated weapons.
New Ship: Khaez’Vynar – A deceptive resource harvester. Lightly armored but equipped with a surprising number of heavy turrets. Don’t underestimate it.
New Ship: Kryth’Veshal – A bulky transporter with little shielding but a thick, self-repairing armor coating of unknown origin.
New Chatserver – We’ve moved to our own infrastructure for faster and more reliable in-game chat. Future features include direct messages between commanders.
Analytics Subsystem – A handcrafted, fully anonymous system tracking jumps, trades, mission types, completions, lost ships, and more. Tied only to your Commander name. Verified commanders will get access to community stats.

Changes
Increased stardust density for a more immersive space environment.
Minimap scaling now cycles between 25x and 1600x magnification levels.
Missiles now do damage to the player. Yes, really.
Fixes
Fixed an issue where weapon damage used integers instead of floats. Big difference, big fix.
Fixed the Eclipse Projector’s visual glitch. It shines bright once more.
Fixed a bug that would let you keep your inventory on death.

Our new two-week release cycle is continuing strong, and we’re excited to take things even further. The Echo Nexus is just the beginning of a much larger mystery—and you’ve only seen the surface.
