addedOne Week After ReleaseThe project is now one week live and received already a few updates fixing a bunch of bugs and also adding some smaller events here and there. Hopefully improving the initial problems a bit. Other than that the game did not receive much coverage yet, so I will see if I can improve on that over the next weeks as well, with a better trailer and description of the game. First I want to add some more content to the game.
changedCurrent Update 0.3.8This update delivered some more fixes and added a basic AI, which can technically run around and chase the player through the entire castle. I decided to disable that for now tho and use it in certain areas and situations. Otherwise it would sometimes be extremely annoying when he just comes in spots where you cannot hide or run anywhere to. Most likely a different kind of enemy will use this in the future and will kinda be an obstacle to the player. I also did changes when loading the game which previously resulted in strange behaviors of certain areas not loading correctly. It should work better now, from my tests I didn't encounter any problems anymore and also had better performance in the castle. If you encounter anything let me know where it caused issues or just general problems.

It will also add some more items, interactions and act as a required progression to get farther into the woods.

Overview
Today I will start a format that will function as a weekly update on the game. What I'm working on, how the next update is coming along and what I'm overall working on. I will try to split it into different topics like: general direction of the future of the project, technical aspects as well as some story teaser.
To kick things of I will talk about the things I learned and want to improve on.

I will also take more time to test the upcoming builds so that I do not run into the same problems as with the release and the overall experience turns out better.
