First of all, thank you so much for trying out the AVROPOLIS demo!

Based on feedback from reviews and playthrough videos, I’ve released a hotfix addressing some issues related to the player’s waist, along with another couple of minor fixes I noticed during testing.

TEMPORARY FIX

  • Waist rotation issues: The waist will now only rotate when the controller rotates as well, improving stability and ignoring the camera’s rotation, so please be aware when you are physically rotating.

BUG FIXES

  • Sticky bomb: The sticky bomb now only detonates on valid surfaces, ignoring other grabbable items and force-pull interactions.

  • TorchFixed an issue where torches could be added to backpacks while active.

NOTES

For now, I’m prioritizing waist rotation stability. Camera and movement blending for the player’s waist will be improved in a future patch, as I want to ensure all systems work together smoothly and are properly polished.

I’ll continue to monitor and fix issues as they come up. Some fixes take more time than others, but now that the demo is public I’ll have a lot more feedback to work with.

Thanks for your patience and for following me along on this journey — it means the world to me!
