What's new:

External environment:

The external environment adds to the context of the game, where each battle is represented in the form of a board game. When you pause time, you see the game as it really is. By starting the game time again, you let your imagination take over and thus see the board game come to life, simulating the historical battle.

External representation of events:

The external environment will adapt and represent what is happening on the game board. Whether it is the atmosphere, the light, the weather or the events that take place during the battle. For example, in this version, the building that catches fire and makes smoke is represented by a candle in "the real world" when time is paused.

Ambient Occlusion:

This is the kind of thing that is easy to implement and adds a lot to the game. Until now there were very few, if any, of them. The time has come to spice it up.

Improved points in this version:

  • Fixes in the tutorial.

  • Texture optimizations.

Corrected bugs:

  • No more dialogs appeared after closing a dialog.

  • The dialog box was superimposed with the enemy card game.

  • The height of the headquarters header did not adjust when paused.

  • It was no longer possible to press the run button.

  • Clicking on the time control buttons deselects the units.

  • Enemy units annihilated, immobilized allied units that targeted them.

  • The buttons to recover/destroy artillery were partly hidden by the ground.
