Balance Changes

Boss V for Vicious

  • UPDATEBoss V has received new relics and cards, making the encounter more challenging.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when adding the final missing effect (Damage, Heal, Shield, Poison, Burn, Regeneration, Thorn, Bleed, Shock) through a random Skill Master upgrade.

  • Fixed a bug where attribute points were not properly loaded after continuing a run.

  • Fixed soft locks caused by uninitialized events and blocked paths.

  • Fixed a bug allowing players to continue a run after winning.

  • Fixed lag on the Game Over screen.

  • Fixed incorrect Charge and Haste values displayed on relics.

  • Fixed the Viper's Nest relic.

Technical Update

  • Updated the game engine from Godot 4.5 to Godot 4.7.

Card Updates

Flamesh

  • BUFF: +1 base Burn.

Necrotic Fluid

  • BUFFBase Poison value changed from 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 to 4 / 4 / 4 / 4 .
  • BUFFPoison scaling improved from +1 per 20 Dexterity to +1 per 18 / 16 / 14 / 10 Dexterity .

Tonic (New Sacrifice Card)

  • At the start of combat:

    Steal all Intelligence from your enemy.

    Deal damage to both yourself and your enemy.

Multishot

  • FIX: Now charges all Damage cards instead of only Projectile cards.

A Word from the Dev

Art Collaboration

As you may have noticed, the Steam artwork has changed!

My collaboration with Mario Giraud is continuing, and I'm really proud of how the new Steam page looks.

The new trailer should be coming soon as well!

Real Life Comes First

With the release of Arena Mode, it's time for me to take a small step back from development.

Over the last few months, life has changed quite a bit: I'm now a dad, and I've recently started a new job. Both are exciting new adventures, but they also leave me with much less free time to dedicate to Autocard.

Because of this, the game will enter a maintenance phase for the next 2 to 3 months. During that time, I'll still be around to release small patches, fix bugs, and address major issues when needed.

I also want to give Arena Mode the attention it deserves before moving on to new content. My priority will be making sure the mode is stable and battle-tested by the community before I start working on additional features.

So don't worry—Autocard isn't going anywhere. Things will simply be a little quieter for a while as I focus on family, work, and polishing what is already in the game.
