Arena Update Is Live — Fight Other Players' Builds
Hello everyone!
Today I'm releasing the biggest update since Early Access launched:
Arena Mode
You can now test your builds against other players.
Arena is a brand-new asynchronous PvP mode where you'll battle ghost versions of builds created by the community.
No two runs are the same, and the meta is already starting to evolve.
How Arena Works
Arena follows a different structure than Adventure Mode.
At the start of each run you'll choose a powerful modifier that can completely change your strategy.
Examples include:
Bonus XP every Area
Extra starting Health and Bonus Health in every Area
Increase to income every Area
Fusion mechanic
You'll then build your board, improve your cards, and face other players' creations.
Reach 12 victories before suffering 5 defeats to complete a successful Arena run.
Casual Arena
Want to play your favorite strategy?
Casual Arena lets you choose exactly which Packs you'll use.
Experiment with your strongest ideas, test new synergies, and earn Arena Tickets through successful runs.
Ranked Arena
Looking for a challenge?
Ranked Arena introduces:
ELO Rating
Ranked progression
More demanding deckbuilding decisions
Instead of selecting your exact setup, you'll choose a pool of Packs and adapt to a partially randomized draft.
The best players won't just build strong boards.
They'll learn to adapt.
Your Steam Profile Appears In-Game
Arena opponents use real Steam profiles.
You'll see player names and avatars as you climb the ladder and face builds created by the community.
The people you're fighting may have been in your last match.
Or they may be the next player trying to take your rank.
Time To Break The Meta
The Fusion System.
The Crafting System.
The Pack System.
All of them now have a new purpose:
Finding the strongest build possible.
I'm extremely curious to see what strategies emerge first.
Will players stack absurd Dexterity builds?
Abuse infinite healing loops?
Create unstoppable fusion monsters?
Or discover something I never expected?
Jump into Arena and let's find out.
Good luck, and see you on the ladder.
