Our work on improving Animalkind continues, addressing issues as quickly as we can. Our community has been great at reporting these issues and we really appreciate this help. Thank you! We’re active in the Discord if you would like to get any help with the game or even just tips.
This update will address some common and some pretty rare issues that players are encountering.
**Summary of Changes**
User Interface, User Experience, and Control Changes
Addressed an issue where some HUD elements would act erratically
Addressed an issue where hanging onto a mech could interfere with the character controller
Adjusted some text fly-ups to read properly
Swapped button placement in the character creation menus
Fixed bug where quest names could overflow from quest HUD toaster
Progression Issues and Small Content Changes
Addressed issues that would prevent Tao and Penny from accepting a house from the player
Clarified the description for one of Sam’s daily quests so that it wouldn’t be misleading
Other Bugs
Addressed another issue preventing voice chat from toggling on / off properly
Addressed an issue that could cause players to hang on a loading screen when loading into a world
Fixed an animation issue that would give Penny hilariously long legs
Addressed an issue where beds could not be picked up while outside of homes.
