It’s our favorite time of the week… that time where we get to release an update for Animalkind! With 0.6.14 and 0.6.15, we introduced a lot of changes to the game so this release is much smaller in scope. With this update we’re addressing some smaller issues we’ve seen with the game that we think get in the way of true coziness. Hope you enjoy!
Summary of Changes
Network stability: we did a pass to make the network a bit more stable when playing with friends. This should be especially noticeable on poor connections which would previously cause intermittent disconnections.
Performance: we’ve done a broad pass to improve game-wide performance but this is most visible in Tallwoods!
Fixed an issue where the minimap tracking icons were inaccurately placed.
If you open any menu while in zoomies, we now cancel out the zoomies.
Lighting was a bit too intense in some portions of certain maps. Snowrock should look a lot better in this regard.
Multi-collect should be more reliably working again. Hold ‘E’ around multiple collectable items to give it a try!
If your inventory is full but you keep crafting, we give you a fly-up indicator of that alongside packing up the item in a box to make it clear what’s happening.
