How the Casino Actually Works

We’ve gotten a lot of great questions about how Always Bet on Quack actually plays, so we wanted to take a moment to break down the core experience.

We’ve gotten a lot of great questions about how Always Bet on Quack actually plays, so we wanted to take a moment to break down the core experience.

A Social Casino Party Game

At its heart, Always Bet on Quack is a multiplayer party game set in a duck run casino. You and your friends sit down at familiar tables like roulette and blackjack, but the rules are twisted just enough to turn every round into a loud, unpredictable moment.

Importantly:

  • There is no real-money gambling

  • Chips are earned and spent entirely in game

  • The focus is on chaos, comedy, and gambling together

Earning Chips

Players earn chips in a few different ways:

  • Playing casino games like Quackette and Quackjack

  • Participating in construction themed mini games that reward skill and teamwork

  • Progressing through the game and hitting milestones

These systems are designed so players always have ways to earn chips without pressure or paywalls.

Spending Chips & Progression

Chips are used for:

  • Cosmetic customization for your duck

  • Unlocking new looks, effects, and rewards

  • Showing off your progress and personality in the casino

Progression is meant to feel fun and expressive, we want to reward players for enjoying the game without turning it into a grindy mess.

Designed for Friends, Not House Favored Odds

While the setting is a casino, the experience is built around social interaction, not good odds. We want yelling at the table, reacting to chaos, and watching things go wrong together is just as important as winning a round. Not to mention, many achievements and awards are from activities not related to winning.

We’ll be sharing more details about individual games, progression systems, and mini games in future updates. If this sounds like your kind of chaos, wishlisting the game on Steam is the best way to support development and stay in the loop. Thanks for reading! We can’t wait to share more soon.
