Minor Update

I have 3 large content drops coming: Stamina changes, a big balance patch, and a secret third thing. Each of these deserves its own update. So, this is everything else. TL; DR - hit impacts, orb UI, feedback form.

Gameplay

  • You can now swap stance while in the Arena spawn room

  • All projectiles now travel ~15% faster

  • All projectiles now play their impact sfx locally for the player who owns them

  • Abilities like the Archer’s Trap now trigger sfx locally for the player who owns them

  • Some projectiles received increased impact VFX intensity

  • Arena Orbs now spawn every 25s (was 20s)

UI/UX

  • Orb spawn timer UI now exists in Arena mode

  • Securing an orb now shows the effects in your status effect queue

  • Health and Stamina bars now have semi-transparent background colors

  • An in-game feedback form exists in the Esc menu. There are 2 types you can submit: bug or feedback

  • Upon queuing for matchmaking, the “Leave Queue” button will now be visible immediately. It will be disabled, however, until you can actually leave

Bugs & Misc

  • Discord queue bot will no longer count Private games

  • Resolved several bugs & crashes with Redpoint/EOS

  • Rewrote & abstracted all Ability Charges logic for reuse

  • Fixed a visual bug where DodgeAttack and JumpAttack indicated that they blocked abilities with Charges

  • Fixed several bugs with a path-creating actor (to be shown soon)

  • Fixed several intermittent bugs with stance-swapping. It’s possible that this will cause new ones, so be on the lookout

  • Fixed a bug where entering/exiting effect-causing volumes (ex: Frost Nova) while in an Invulnerable state triggered incorrect interactions

  • Fixed a bug where tooltips failed to load keybinds during the login loading screen

  • Fixed a bug where switching heroes at the statues could freeze your game under certain conditions
