Update 1.0.7 - Laser Fire Refactor

Gameplay Changes Laser fire now applies damage in a 0.1 second interval instead of 0.2 seconds. If the player is holding the shoot button down they are now firing 10 times per second rather than 5 times per second.

  • Visual laser fire sped up by 66% to better align the visual element of laser shots.

Background Systems Changes

  • Laser fire now functions on a 6 metre diameter sphere trace rather than a line trace, this makes it far easier to hit targets at a distance and overall has led to a considerable change in the overall feel of the game.

  • Changes to the collision channels of all 10 Star-Fighters so the sphere trace laser fire is not blocked by the player's own ship.

Bug Fixes

  • Fix for the Cendoria Headquarters achievement not firing due to a blueprint recompile issue.
