Under the new system, items can be generated on the fly for your save and don't need to be one of the items in the world info. These will be marked as "story-acquired". They will be stored in the save directory rather than the world info directory.
changedUse items on NPCs or Interactable ObjectsClick the items button while in a dialog to use a story-acquired item on an NPC or Interactable Object. At this time, only the aforementioned special story-acquired items may be used for this purpose (this is for balance to prevent regular items from being OP)

Use items on NPCs or Interactable Objects

Updates

  • Added informative text for failed actions such as item in wrong place or not enough mana

  • Fixed player image not showing in inventory

  • Fixed occasional bug where starting new game would inherit previous game stats

  • Added realized weapon damage to game equipment view

  • Nerfed overpowered loot drops

  • Implemented logic to remove relevant quests if an essential NPC died

  • Added visual particle effect for on-hit
