30 Days on Ship changes
🐾 Introduction
The ship keeps sailing through open waters, and the crew never stops exploring the nearby islands. This time we’ve come across something that could change the rhythm of survival – fish that can be used as food, exotic animals hidden in containers carried aboard the ship, and now also a bird system. Birds can be hunted for supplies, and if the crew finds their nests, eggs can be collected as an additional food source.
⚙️ New Systems onboard
Added a fish system – they can be caught around islands and used as food.
Implemented a bird system – players can hunt birds or gather eggs from nests they discover.
Basic interactions and behaviors are in place – animals can be collected, observed, or used as resources.
🐾 What we’re focusing on now
Testing food balance – how many fish, birds, or eggs are needed, and what effects exotic animals bring.
Checking how these new resources affect the overall survival strategy.
🌊 Next steps
Expanding the exotic animal system – adding special effects or risks.
Refining the bird system – different bird types and nest locations.
Integrating all new resources with the daily challenges on the ship.
Testing island exploration with fishing, bird hunting, and animal discovery.
🤖 AI Improvements
We’ve also worked on enhancing AI behavior. The fixes are already available in the demo version, so you can try them out right now!
🚀 What’s next
The crew won’t just stop at food sources – in the next update we’ll tease something much more challenging that could shake up survival on the ship. Stay tuned.
