NEW FEATURES

  • Higher-Resolution Portraits

  • All character portraits redrawn at 96x96 (4x the pixel budget of the previous 48x48).

  • Eyes, eyelids, and eyelashes use anti-aliased shapes with a real iris, pupil, and catchlight.

  • Class overlays redone with smoother gradients and softer edges:

helms, halos, hoods, mage hat, warlock hood, druid/shaman markings, monk headband.

  • Removed the per-pixel skin "noise" that was producing a dirty/speckled look.

  • Brighter rim light along the silhouette so portraits stand out from the background.

  • Custom Portrait Import

  • New "I" button on the character screen opens a Windows file picker.

  • Accepts PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, and GIF images.

  • Imported images are center-cropped to a square and saved as a 256x256 PNG in:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\\10ManIdle\\Saves\\portraits\\{characterId}.png

  • "X" button (only visible when a custom portrait is set) deletes the imported image

and reverts the character to the procedural portrait.

  • Custom portraits persist across saves.

  • Auto Quest Progression (Live Game Only)

  • When the game is running, completing a quest successfully now auto-advances the

character to the NEXT quest in the quest list (sorted by required level, then CP).

  • On a quest failure the character keeps repeating the same quest until they succeed,

then progression resumes.

  • When the character reaches the bottom of the list, they continue repeating the

last quest indefinitely.

  • Offline progression is unchanged: closed-game time still repeats the same assigned

quest as before.

BUG FIXES

----------

  • Portrait cache no longer leaks GPU textures when re-rolling a character's face.

  • Portrait cache no longer mismatches characters whose IDs share digit prefixes.

  • Cleaner alpha blending when drawing semi-transparent portrait details.

SAVE COMPATIBILITY

-------------------

  • Fully backward compatible with existing saves.

  • Adds an optional CustomPortraitPath field to characters; older saves load with it

unset and behave exactly as before.
