Zombie Hamsters changes
Steam post image Hey, little lab escape artists!
First of all, thank you for all the feedback. We’ve received a lot of comments, bug reports, and suggestions from you, and our tiny hamster brains are already processing them at full speed. At the same time, our team continues to find, investigate, and quickly fix issues we discover along the way.
Below is the list of changes and fixes included in this update.
New and improved:
Added a lobby list screen. You can now choose which game to join, including sessions with lower ping.
Dead hamsters now stay with us forever. And yes, you can carry them around.
Added missing sound effects, including flamethrower sounds, gravity room sounds, falling sounds, and more.
Improved guard behavior.
Added a new health system, including a rebalance of damage and survivability for both hamsters and NPCs.
Improved the movement system. Your hamster now moves more smoothly, jumps farther, and grabs ledges more reliably.
Increased the button activation range.
Improved the UI. Objectives are now more visible, and navigation has become more interactive, making it harder to get lost.
Added a magical surprise lamp. Yes, you can point it at your friend.
Fixed:
Fixed an issue with scientists’ eyes. They look normal now. Mostly.
Fixed an issue that made it harder to grab the mechanical arm in the acid room.
Fixed a number of minor bugs.
We’re continuing to improve the project, process your feedback, and prepare the next updates.
