ZEROAD changes
Version 0.1.7 marks the beginning of the final stretch. ZEROAD is now part of Steam Next Fest, and full release is just around the corner. This update focuses on polishing the experience, expanding the arsenal, and setting the stage for what's coming.

New Affixes

Arsenal Expansion: New Weapons
The armory has grown significantly.
5 new submachine guns (new class!): PPSh-41, Uzi, HK MP5, PP-91, FN P90
8 new assault rifles: M16, AK-74, Steyr AUG, M4A1, Tavor X95, AK-12, HK416, FN SCAR-H
8 new machine guns: M60, HK21, PKM, FN Minimi, Negev, HK MG4, KAC AMG, SIG MG 338
8 new shotguns: SPAS-12, MAG-7, SPAS-15, M26 MASS, Jackhammer, USAS-12, Vepr-12, Origin-12
7 new sniper rifles: SVD, PSG1, Barrett M82, VSS Vintorez, Barrett XM500, M110, SVCh
Note: These firearms require a Shooting Skill level that cannot be reached in the demo. They are ready and will be waiting for you in the full game.
Weapon System Improvements
Weapon Upgrade Window: Redesigned for clarity. The min-max cards no longer show weapon names, icons, or skill requirements, they now clearly represent upgrade results, not choices. The "upgrade weapon" button matches your weapon's next rarity color, making it more noticeable.
Gun Cabinet Rework: Now guarantees at least two weapons matching your current shooting skill level. Weapons with higher requirements (and greater power) appear more frequently.
Reroll Affix Rework: Low-tier affixes now have a much higher chance to be replaced, helping you keep powerful affixes while rolling away weak ones.
Weapon Level Limit: Weapons are now capped at their required shooting skill level +5, preventing overly powerful starting weapons from appearing.
Visual & Interface Polish
All Weapon Images Updated: Every weapon now has a more beautiful, vibrant, and distinct look.
- Road Object UpdatesGun cabinets and workbenches have fresh new images.
Laser Line: Now more saturated and visible in combat.
Progression Tuning
Meta Progression: Balanced level and shooting skill experience curves for a smoother, more rewarding leveling.
Simplified Damage Formula: Each Shooting Skill level now grants a clear +4% weapon damage.
Encounter Scaling: Roads now progressively get heavier. Two encounters start from Road #6, and the chance of getting two encounters steadily increases thereafter. Three encounters start from Road #16, and the chance of getting three encounters steadily increases thereafter.
Fixes
Fixed a bug where clients could get stuck in a game window after the host disconnected.
Fixed a mission-ending bug where only one of two players entering the zone would trigger the transition, leaving the second player stranded and rarely breaking the game.
