Z.O.N.A: Origin changes
Changes and Improvements:
Magnetic and instant item grabbing has been improved. Previously, it could be difficult to grab the item you wanted if other loot was nearby. This issue should now be resolved.
The AS “Val” sight rail is now attached only when a collimator sight is installed on the weapon. Many players asked for the ability to remove it for cleaner iron-sight aiming, and this is now possible. The rail can still be painted while a collimator sight is attached.
The AK-74 sight rail for collimator or sniper scopes is now attached only when a sight is installed on the weapon.
The AK-74M sight rail for collimator or sniper scopes is now attached only when a sight is installed on the weapon.
The AKS-74 sight rail for collimator or sniper scopes is now attached only when a sight is installed on the weapon.
The Valmet M78 sight rail for collimator or sniper scopes is now attached only when a sight is installed on the weapon.
The AKS-74 “Survivor” sight rail for collimator or sniper scopes is now attached only when a sight is installed on the weapon.
The item description script has been improved and optimized. It now performs fewer requests, resulting in lower CPU usage.
Improvements have been made to the main menu and death screen. As one player pointed out, the “Continue” button did not slide to the right like the other buttons when selecting “New Game.” This has now been fixed. A small detail, but still :)
The price of .50 AE ammunition has been adjusted from 5 to 4 coupons per round to better match the pricing of loaded magazines compared to ammo boxes. Also, for players who mentioned that ammo in boxes and magazines costs differently: please remember that the empty magazine itself has value, and each weapon uses a different magazine type. Empty magazines can also be sold separately.
The price of the loaded magazine for the OTs-14 “Groza” has been adjusted.
The “VR Sharpness” shader has been slightly optimized.
Shadows from campfires and grills at the Free Stalkers base and in Pripyat have been adjusted. Previously, the shadows were incorrectly projected onto the floor, which looked strange. They now render more naturally. Thanks to the player who pointed this out in the Discord suggestions channel. A small detail, but still!
Additionally:
The leaderboard has been reset for a new season and a fairer distribution of player rankings.
