This is a small feedback update for the Beta branch, to make the game fully playable with just a mouse and hopefully address a few issues people were having.

This is a small feedback update for the Beta branch, to make the game fully playable with just a mouse and hopefully address a few issues people were having.

New

  • Graphics toggle options have been added for;

    • Noise / Grain

    • Chromatic Aberration

    • Ambient Occlusion

  • Added mouse drag to scroll on the map

  • Added a button to open the pause menu

Fixes

  • Quit no longer gets disabled outside of the map, but progress is only saved from the map

  • Stats now reset properly at the end of battle, causing coins like Holy Shield to no longer base their tooltip outside of battle on your previous battle

  • Discard plate collider has been extended vertically to make discarding more comfortable

  • You can now view your deck from the battle victory screen

  • Wooden Coin & Lucky Coin talismans now properly highlight when hovered over

  • Fixed a few unloading bugs when going back to the main menu

  • Fix for Talisman count text colour resetting incorrectly after River Styx

The first major update will likely take until the end of June, I'll post an announcement when I'm confident on the release date, it's going to have the aforementioned Consumables system, a reworking of how the shop works (with a few new things to buy), and a bunch of new coins & talismans. Undecided on the amount but there's a lot of builds that are missing key things needed to flourish.

Thanks again for all the support. I didn't know what to expect post-launch as it's my first steam game, but I've been really happy with the feedback so far and we're nearing 250 copies sold!

Also, for anyone interested, I streamed some game work a while ago and I'm planning on doing it more throughout development.
