Heyoo! Just a small update today, focusing on balance & polish but with a few new talismans too.
New
Added a button to retry with selected deck after losing
3 New Talismans (1 for each class that was missing an appropriate starting talisman)
Linothorax | Turn Start: Gain 3 Armor
Anagryis | Mana does not affect negative coin scores for 5 battles
Wooden Coin | Coins named “Coin” and “Coin+” trigger an additional time
Destroyed coins now have a more fitting visual rather than just fading out
Added a skip intro button that will skip straight to the starting gift selection if you have played a deck before
If your score goes over the target score at the start of a turn, you will win the battle on submit, rather than flipping your coins
Collection screen can now support multiple pages
Collection Talisman order has been updated slightly
Tooltip now has rarity icons for coin / talismans (weighted rarity is not yet implemented, will be in a future update)
Balance / Changes
All decks now have their own starting gift Talisman
Scratched Coin now does nothing on both sides
Rock - Quadrupled mana gain for each stone coin in deck
Void - doubled mana gained from doing nothing
Heavy Shield - now blocks all negative score form the first coin to lose score every turn
Poseidon - can now have it’s tails trigger amount upgraded, ability triggers are treated as extra triggers and now shown in the tooltip
Some talismans have been renamed and had their art tweaked
Fixes
Score bar crown image should no longer have it’s scale & rotation broken when triggering a great number of times
Fixed a bug when continuing a run after going back to the menu on the win screen for Phlegethon
Talisman side bar has been modified to fix a small movement bug, also makes the next update a lot easier
I think I've settled on how updates are gonna roll out, there is now a beta branch with no password. I'll push updates there first, then anyone can play it there for a few days. I'll be playing it as well of course, and if no major bugs are found I'll push it live.
I'm working on the first big update now, apologies for how long it's taking. I spent a bit of the post-launch period taking a small break, and refactoring a few systems to make the new stuff easier to add.
Once I land on a decent release cadence, I'll post a proper roadmap. I know what versions 0.5 -> 1.0 look like, so after 0.4 (Consumables) and 0.5 (Favours / Boss Rewards) are finalised, I'll be making a proper roadmap to tease the next update with each release.
Based on the feedback the game has received I'm feeling very confident that by 1.0, Wunder will be a solid little deckbuilder. Thanks so much to everyone playing, reviewing and giving feedback!!
