changedEdit : After a softlocking bug was reported in the night, I've moved the whole update to the experimental branch with a fix and rolled back to 0.3.6 on main, I'm gonna test a bunch on my laptop whilst away from home and if it's solid I'll push it to main!

Edit 2: v 0.3.9 is now live, I've played on 2 machines for a few hours and it feels stable, I'll keep an eye out for any bug reports and hop back in if there's issues. I hope every update isn't this exciting 😅

Balance

  • Rogue | Passive Heads chance raised by 6% to be 2/3 odds

  • Shop | Restock cost now doubles with every restock

  • Bosses

    • Elemental mini-bosses have been changed, now the coins will trigger but the elemental effects are not applied. Example: Fire coins won’t have their score multiplied by 2

    • “Rare coins don’t trigger” has become “Rare coin effects don’t trigger” so any score and extra triggers from upgrades will still happen, plus element effects will trigger

Fixes

  • Upgrade | Coins that have no score are no longer compatible with Double Heads & Tails Score

  • Deck Abilities | Changed how passive coin chances are applied to allow downgrading to 0%

  • Shop | bell can no longer load in all wonky after leaving a shop real fast

  • UI | Class icon was not set properly when loading a previous run

  • Talisman | Scabbard was upgrading incorrectly when upgrades are used, not just skipped

  • Score | Bigger numbers are now possible

  • Endless | Scaling from Asphodel 10 has been increased
