CHARMS & CURSES
Introducing Charms & Curses, a new core mechanic designed to deepen the roguelike experience.
Charms are powerful bonuses that affect your entire run. They can enhance your damage, survivability, or overall playstyle. For example: +10% damage, +1 PA, or reduced cooldowns: simple, effective, and always impactful.
Curses are a more dangerous alternative. They offer stronger bonuses, but always come with a significant drawback. Example: +20% damage, but +10% damage taken. Power always comes at a price.
Choosing the right Charms or daring to accept Curses will require careful planning and adaptation. The strongest builds won’t be the safest ones, but the smartest.
Every decision matters, and every run can take a radically different path.
