  • Gameplay
  • Performance
addedA quick follow-up to v1.7.0, fixing a title-screen glitch and tuning the new AI behaviour .
fixedFixed a balance-of-power info card that popped up on the title screen the moment you started a game — along with the flicker it caused on the title's top border. The opening balance of power is now set up silently; you'll only ever see a card when the global alignment actually CHANGES during play.
changedAI physical barter offers now actually show up. Friendly powers regularly table concrete swaps — war materiel, money, technology transfers, resource supply — instead of almost always defaulting to an abstract trade pact.
addedThe AI can now DECLARE WAR under the right conditions. A deeply hostile, sustained rivalry (very low relations and high threat, held over time) can boil over into war. You're still warned first by an ultimatum, and a single bad month will never trigger it.
