changedTHE BIGGEST UPDATE YET — a worthy adversary, a campaign with stakes, a world of leverage, and a stack of community requests.
addedA WORTHY ADVERSARY — Grand-Strategy AI • Every major power now carries a yearly DOCTRINE — hegemon, revisionist, balancer, survival, or status-quo — with a primary target and an alliance posture, recomputed each January atop their personalities and memories. • The BALANCE OF POWER is live: when one state pulls far enough ahead — YOU included — the others draw together into a named BALANCING COALITION against the front-runner. Snowball too hard and the whole board turns on you. • See it all on the new THE GREAT GAME screen (Diplomacy): world polarity, the hegemon, who is balancing against whom, and who has you in their sights.
addedA WORLD OF LEVERAGE — Trade & Chokepoints • Global commerce now runs through eight maritime CHOKEPOINTS — Hormuz, Malacca, Suez, Bab-el-Mandeb, the Turkish Straits, the Black Sea grain corridor, Panama, the Taiwan Strait. • When conflict or sanctions raise the pressure, a strait goes open → strained → contested → blockaded, and every dependent economy (yours included) pays in slower growth and dearer prices. • Use the levers on the new CHOKEPOINTS screen: convoy-ESCORT a strained route, or BLOCKADE a rival's lifeline if you have the naval reach.
addedTHE WAR ROOM • A new WAR ROOM desk reads the temperature of your tenure as one THREAT INTENSITY (0–100), with its level, trend, drivers, and a ranked queue of exactly what needs you now.
addedRICHER DECISIONS & DIPLOMACY (community requests) • Ten new domestic, political and scandal decision cards — nepotism, leaked recordings, electoral-fraud probes, coalition revolts, procurement kickbacks, youth movements, autonomy petitions, surveillance exposés, lifestyle scandals, pension revolts — each with several choices to spend political capital on. • AI powers now table PHYSICAL barter deals, not just trade pacts: real war materiel, money, technology transfers and resource supply, priced on the strength of your relationship. • Reminder: you can buy or sell territory peacefully on the Diplomatic Service screen — willingness and price depend on relations.
addedPRESENTATION & HELP • Milestone cinematics — full-screen marquee moments when you climb the primacy ladder or the world turns against you. • A new in-game FIELD GUIDE (Home) — core concepts, the three builders explained (national infrastructure vs province builds vs the innovation economy — they're independent), and an index of every screen.

A CAMPAIGN WITH STAKES • A PRIMACY LADDER — climb from Regional Player to Uncontested Primacy, each rung a milestone. • A visible RIVAL VICTORY RACE — every contender's distance to world primacy. • A live RECKONING — your legacy score, world rank, years in power and the summit you reached, in one verdict.

A WORLD OF LEVERAGE — Trade & Chokepoints • Global commerce now runs through eight maritime CHOKEPOINTS — Hormuz, Malacca, Suez, Bab-el-Mandeb, the Turkish Straits, the Black Sea grain corridor, Panama, the Taiwan Strait.

UNDER THE HOOD • New balance/exploit harness hunting pathologies even a stable game can hide. Additive, save-safe, deterministic — and the monthly-tick peak actually improved.
