New: a living, reactive situation layer for your nation.
A new Situations Center (under REPORTS) shows the living state of your country. Standing, multi-month situations now emerge from your nation's real conditions — across economy, politics, society, demographics, housing, healthcare, education, infrastructure, energy, environment, technology, security, trade, diplomacy, and culture — plus positive opportunities to seize.
Every situation is explainable. It traces to a real metric and shows what's causing it, what may follow if you ignore it, and where to respond. There's no random noise: if inflation is high, a cost-of-living situation appears; if growth is strong, an expansion opportunity opens.
Situations evolve over time and show who's reacting — the public, unions, business, the cabinet, the opposition, the press, intelligence services, international partners, and more — grounded in your actual numbers.
When a situation turns critical, it escalates to the decision desk, where you respond through the same crisis-decision screen you already know.
The same situation plays out differently in every country, because severity tracks each nation's own simulated conditions.
Fully additive: every existing system, tab, and save works exactly as before. Load an old save and keep playing — the new layer simply begins observing.
Also includes recent fixes: sliders no longer change when you scroll, panels keep your scroll position after a command, review-before-apply on every slider, and stable save/load.
