It's been a busy two weeks since we launched the playtest, and we've had a lot of good feedback... and many bug reports! This update fixes a lot of bugs, adds a lot of quality of life features, and adds a lot of tutorial stuff (as players were struggling to learn how to play). You can also now select tiles and objects that are far away, and you will pathfind automatically (if possible) to use it - this makes the mouse controls particularly much more usable.
Changelog
Improved UI
Added Graves - these show when npcs are killed and allow you to revive pets
Improved character portraits
Can select objects/tiles that are far away and will either pathfind to it automatically, or tell you if it's too far away
Added tutorial quests for the starting items that you can skip if desired
Higher quality chests now have more storage
Running into or from chests pushes/pulls them
Added a new guarded chest with beets and gold in it
Mine tooltips now show what it will mine
Tier 1 wands and the gemcrafting station now take bronze bars, not gold
You can now cancel jobs given to NPCs by interacting with them
Added option to move object tooltips back where they were before
Digging ice now gives snow
Mouse wheel can pick up and place individual items in your inventory
Clay, Stone, Sand dug with the hoe now set quality based on mining skill
Pets will no longer die from cold damage - they will hit 1 health, but never 0.
Lots of bugfixes!
I hope you enjoy, and we have a lot more updates to come! Let us know if you have more suggestions or feedback!
