First off, a huge thank you to everyone who offered their valuable feedback and suggestions during the Steam Next Fest, and across various social media platforms. Your advice helped us pinpoint issues in the game, but more importantly, it showed us just how many people care about what we're doing. For a small team like ours, that means the world.

We've been working on this game for over a year, experimenting with different styles, tweaking mechanics, adding content, and streamlining the systems. Now that the game is released, we can say with full confidence—we gave it our all.

About the Game

For those new to "Witch Way" let me give you a quick rundown!

Link with the Witch, Defend the Village

In this game, you've gained the power to control Valentina, a formidable witch, through a spiritual link! You can command her to corrupt the entire village and sacrifice villagers to unleash powerful magic, all to fend off waves of demonic attacks.

Core Gameplay: Corruption and Domination

As a Witch, you don't just wield a variety of powerful skills; you can also corrupt buildings to enhance their abilities. What's even better, you can assign villagers to these corrupted structures, granting them additional bonuses.

Of course, there's an unwritten rule in the game: as long as one villager survives, the game continues. This leads to a "clever" tactic: Sacrifice. By sacrificing a villager, you can instantly activate a powerful, destructive magic, capable of turning the tide of battle! However, be sure to keep an eye on the number of surviving villagers—after all, you're supposedly "defending the village."

Diverse Skills: Craft Your Dark Playstyle

"Witch Way"offers a wide array of skills for you to mix and match. The witch you control can master a variety of active and passive spells. Upgrading the altar within the village allows you to specialize your abilities, while upgrading arrow towers and walls gives you choices between offensive and defensive strategies. When upgrading the barracks, you can train soldiers with different characteristics and grant them unique abilities.

Craft Your Strategy

But the most enjoyable part of the game is combining all these choices. For example, there's an enemy in the game called a "Treant." As everyone knows, wood fears fire. So, you can have your ranged archers imbue their attacks with oil, while your melee soldiers apply fire effects to theirs. When a Treant is drenched in oil and then hit by a fiery attack, the raging flames erupting from it are truly spectacular!
