✨ PATCH HIGHLIGHTS
-- UPDATED GAME MODE: TREASURE HUNT
The Treasure Hunt game mode has undergone a major revamp with the goal of providing a more progression-focused PvEvP experience that can be enjoyed solo or as a group
This revamped mode now includes five updated Reach Zones which scale in difficulty; each zone features new (or improved) enemy AI ships, its own set of dedicated missions that can be completed for chips, as well as a new mode-specific item type called “tomes”
Collect chips to unlock perks and cosmetics from a brand new Treasure Hunt Starlog
21 ship upgrades (which can only be used in Treasure Hunt and Explore the Reach modes)
47 cosmetics (which can be used in all modes)
Collect tomes to unlock additional Reach Zones in Treasure Hunt:
Vortex Wilds (unlocked by default)
Cryonic Rift
Dead Worlds
Gloam Expanse
Vortex Deeps
NEW STARLOG: EXPANSE
Includes 3 new prospector perks and 95 cosmetics

Explore the Reach
Reworked slightly
Now features the “Vortex Wilds” zone from the revamped Treasure Hunt game mode (but includes AI only, no enemy player crews; does not drop tomes)
Artifact Brawl
Removed “Fast Gate”and “Lava Epics” hazards
Removed Laser Rams and Mine Layers from Ancient Relic loot table
Adjusted loot tables so that loot rooms will no longer spawn only one type of item
Adjusted spawn rules for Gate, Vault, Monolith, Obelisk, and Orbs to be more central on the map, making it easier for all crews to have a chance at high tier loot
PROSPECTORS
All prospector health has been buffed by at least 50%

No longer heals in energy fields (Fire Asteroid, Cosmic Storms, Radiation, Shock Field), but does not take damage from them

Added an AI gunner for the rear turret
WEAPONS
AIM-e
Fired projectiles will now more aggressively track targets
EQUIPMENT
Foam Sprayer
Increased time before reload to 8s (was 5s)
Increased DPS to 90 (was 80)
Slightly increased cone width
PERKS
Sal Inventor
No longer provides better items when salvaging as Sal
Now allows Sal’s multitool repair beam to bounce to three targets
Sammo Defender
No longer revives Sammo faster when on your own ship
Now allows Sammo to regen health faster when on your own ship
Engineering
No longer provides a flat 10% multitool repair speed bonus
Now provides a +50% multitool repair speed for engines and turrets only
COMBAT
Increased the time after taking damage before passive health regen kicks in to 16s (was 8s)
For non-Venture players:
If you’re on your own ship, this time is reduced by 4s
If you’re on a small crew, this time is reduced by 4s
For Venture players:
If you’re in space, this time is reduced by 4s
If you’re on a small crew, this time is reduced by 4s
🌱 QUALITY OF LIFE IMPROVEMENTS

Added custom lobby browser
In addition to being able to join private custom lobbies via direct invites from the social tab or with an invite code, players can now also browse for and join public lobbies via the custom lobby browser
Improved inventory screen
Available in all game modes, players can now view ship inventory while in a match, along with active daily, weekly, and game mode-specific missions
✅ BUG FIXES

Fixed a bug where Kinetic Shield Generators would not drop
Fixed a bug that caused AI ships to drop too much Ice when destroyed
Fixed a bug with both the 2-Player and Solo Outlaw ships that caused a starboard hardpoint location to act as though it was a forward hardpoint location
Increased the distance at which deployed drones from the Defense Drone hardpoint can be seen
Laser Drills now move more quickly when escorted by more players
