Are you a captain in need of a crew, or an experienced veteran looking to help some new blood out? Well your time has come!
We’re hosting the Recruit Your Crew event— a chance to earn your own unique Ship name and become a known hunter of the Reach.

RECRUITING YOUR CREW
From May 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM PDT until May 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM PDT, you’ll be able to recruit anyone with a regular or free trial account to your crew and progress through the Treasure Hunt maps.
The first 3 crews who complete all 5 Reach maps will be able to choose a new Ship name that will be added to Wildgate!
In order to progress, the Captain will need to submit two screenshots per Treasure Hunt map in our allocated channel on Discord to show the beginning and end of a match with the same crew members.
A Crew must consist of a Captain and 1 Recruit, but you can have a max of 3 Recruits per Crew. You can also add a Mercenary to your crew, but be careful! They can only follow you through 2 total matches.

CHOOSE YOUR ROLE
During the Recruit Your Crew campaign, you can choose between these Roles:
Captain: The main force behind the ship. A Captain can recruit up to 3 Recruits, or have a Mercenary swap in at any time. Your crew must have the same team throughout all 5 Reach maps, and only the Captain can update the Crew Thread on Discord to show progress.
Recruit: The heart of any ship. A Recruit can join any Crew as a recruit, and must progress with their Captain across all 5 Reach maps in order to receive their ship title. Once part of a crew, a Recruit cannot join another Crew unless they become a Captain or Mercenary.
Mercenary: Guns for hire are a core part of any treasure-seeking crew. A Mercenary is a free agent who can join any crew for 1 or 2 matches to help out a Crew in need. A Mercenary can join any number of Crews, but cannot submit or choose the ship name for a Captain. A Mercenary can take up the Captain or Recruit role, but will need to go through 5 maps from the start in order to choose their Ship name. They get all of the Ship names from any winning crew they were a part of.
You’ll be able to select your Roles in our Discord server upon onboarding or through this post. You can choose it in your heart now, though.
SCREENSHOTS GALORE
Once a Crew has been created, the Captain will create a thread on our Discord channel and update all progress of Treasure Hunt through the same thread. There will be two screenshots required per Treasure Hunt Reach Map:

Once you have all 5 maps completed, you’ll be good to go with your new Crew!
