1.0.1 - Frustration Alleviation Patch
A number of players expressed frustration over either puzzles being too hard to figure out, or combat being too hard, or both. So to address a few of these frustrations I did the following:
There are a few more hints you can get from the world for certain puzzles. - There are a few more helpful responses to the 'What should we do next" question that you can pose to all of your spirits. - There is a 'Difficulty Slider' in the options now. It has four difficulties, so to speak:
- The hardest is what the game was up until now.
- Then you have an option that gives you hints on post-it notes in your journal on important quests.
- The third one makes spirits less aggressive and gives more exp in combat.
- The easiest option gives you both, the hints and less punishing combat.
I have also fixed a few smaller bugs and glitches. I have also made a workaround for your autosaves that have been bricked at the portal. Azazel Vault now opens even if your spirits have died.
