Wave Defense: Trappist changes
The game is now officially released! It’s been a long road to get here, and seeing my first game out in the world is a huge moment. I’ve learned so much along the way, and I want to thank my friends and everyone at Caketown for all the help and support in getting the game across the finish line.
A special thank you also goes to electronic music legend Joel Mull, who composed the game’s original soundtrack. It adds so much atmosphere to the world, and I’m thrilled to announce that the soundtrack will be released as a DLC alongside the first post-launch patch on April 8th!
Coming in Patch #1 (April 8)
Building Upgrade Station Activate the station to unlock meta-upgrades using Crystals mined during your runs. Upgrades include:
A new droid: Alpha-7
Shield domes for turrets
Improved power plants
Enhanced trading outposts
Game Balance Buffs, nerfs, and tweaks to improve the overall challenge and pacing.
UI and Quality of Life Cleaner menus, better feedback, and general usability improvements.
Building Polish Visual improvements and adjusted build sizes for key buildings like the droid factory and trading outpost.
Weapon Improvements I have polished the weapon audio mix to ensure each weapon delivers the right feedback and impact.
