Patch #2 is here, and the main focus has been making Wave Defense: Trappist more accessible—especially for controller players and Steam Deck users. This update also includes improvements to enemy AI and balance tweaks to raise the challenge and keep battles engaging.

Controller Support

  • Full support for PlayStation and Xbox controllers has been added.

  • The entire game is now fully playable on Steam Deck.

  • All menus, UI, and in-game systems have been updated to work seamlessly with controller input.

Enemy AI Improvements

  • Enemies now react more intelligently when attacked, improving the flow and feel of combat.

  • Behavior adjustments lead to more dynamic engagements, especially in mid- to late-game waves.

  • Enemy Balance Tweaks

  • Slight increases to enemy health across various types.

These changes are aimed at making combat more satisfying and a bit more challenging, especially for experienced players.
