changedFull 4K Resolution SupportThanks to the optimizations I’ve been working on over the past few weeks, I’m thrilled to announce that Wave Defense: Trappist now supports all screen resolutions up to 4K! This is a huge achievement, as I wasn’t sure I’d be able to implement full 4K support before release. Now, whether you’re playing on a high-end monito r or a lower-resolution setup , the game will scale properly for a better visual experience .
changedTutorial UI OverhaulA major piece of player feedback was that the tutorial text—previously placed above the instructor Mech —was difficult to read. I’ve now relocated the tutorial text to a new, clearer position, significantly improving readability and making it easier to follow the instructions.
changedBuilding Menu UI RedesignAnother key improvement this week is a redesigned build menu UI . Some players reported that the mouse cursor position wasn’t aligning correctly with UI elements, causing misclicks when selecting buildings. To fix this, I:

Hey everyone!
This week, I’ve continued my optimization work and refreshed the UI for the building menu and tutorial. These changes should make the game feel smoother, clearer, and more accessible to all players.
Full 4K Resolution Support
Thanks to the optimizations I’ve been working on over the past few weeks, I’m thrilled to announce that Wave Defense: Trappist now supports all screen resolutions up to 4K! This is a huge achievement, as I wasn’t sure I’d be able to implement full 4K support before release. Now, whether you’re playing on a high-end monito r or a lower-resolution setup, the game will scale properly for a better visual experience.
Tutorial UI Overhaul
A major piece of player feedback was that the tutorial text—previously placed above the instructor Mech —was difficult to read. I’ve now relocated the tutorial text to a new, clearer position, significantly improving readability and making it easier to follow the instructions.
Building Menu UI Redesign
Another key improvement this week is a redesigned build menu UI. Some players reported that the mouse cursor position wasn’t aligning correctly with UI elements, causing misclicks when selecting buildings. To fix this, I:
Resolved the cursor misalignment issue.
Redesigned the UI layout to make important information clearer.
Improved readability so players can make better building choices at a glance.
These changes should make base-building feel more intuitive and frustration-free!
