Watchstander: Surface Warfare Officer Training Simulator changes
⚓ Watchstander – Patch Notes v0.0.91
The radar now updates every 3 seconds instead of 10, giving you near real-time contact sweeps.
Target tracking now checks strength and consistency before locking on, reducing false alarms from waves or debris.
You can switch between true and relative vectors for hooked targets with a single button press.
Variable Range Markers and Electronic Bearing Lines can now be dragged to measure exact distances and bearings.
Hooked targets display numbered tags and flash while calculating, making it easier to manage multiple contacts.
Click feedback has been improved so acquisition attempts feel smoother and more responsive.
Target vectors are now capped so they cannot extend beyond the radar’s boundary.
The radar display now uses proper masking with bearing numbers clearly visible outside the boundary ring.
The VRM now scales correctly when changing radar range, maintaining accurate measurements in nautical miles.
Both the VRM and EBL now originate from the center of the radar instead of random offsets.
Dragging and releasing the VRM or EBL now finalizes their placement correctly instead of leaving them stuck.
Touchscreen support has been added to the fullscreen radar, allowing tap-and-drag placement of VRM and EBL tools.
Contact acquisition on mobile now registers on release, making taps feel instant and reliable.
Untracked blips now fade out more quickly to keep the radar display clear of clutter.
Fixed multiple runtime and canvas errors to make the radar load and run more reliably.
Improved UI layering to ensure bearing numbers and range rings display correctly at all times.
