🧠 AI & Hostile Upgrades
Introduced new hostile variants, including advanced bunker/station turrets.
Hostiles spawn behavior added for dynamic encounters (one creature so far)
FPS Hostiles are now tracked for better mission integration.
🔐 Keycard & Door Access System
Doors now support keycard-based interactions:
Players must hold a key to unlock certain doors.
Keys are consumed upon use, adding tactical planning to exploration.
Keycards placed for testing across various Bunkers
🧱 Advanced Base Building System
Major improvements to the Base Core and Advanced Build Tools:
Base parts now include Triangle Floors, Arches, Beveled Floor & Wall Panels.
Red Build Dots show contextually.
Removed parts are now properly deregistered from base system.
Solved a major issue blocking Advanced Base Building.
Build Tool now:
Includes new Steam Achievement
Has bug fixes and slight performance improvements.

New Task Types:
Find a Research Item.
Locate a Ship’s Primary Weapon.
Build with the Tool.
Perform Item Analysis.
🔊 Immersion & Feedback Enhancements
Audio alerts added:
When oxygen is low or depleted.
Various 1-time notification were added
Improved:
UI prompts for scanning, tools, and interactions.
Status system cleanup to prevent redundant warnings.
"Boundary Message" now reflects Playtest / Demo
A few voice lines updated from Voice Actor
Various Ui elements were updated: first tasks list, tooltips etc
🛠 Tooling & Salvage Updates
Salvage Tool:
Optimized detection.
Fixed ghost object bug when fully salvaged.
Repair Tool:
Tiered repair capability.
eg. Restore camera drone to full health but ship to 80%
Mining Tool:
Schematic now discoverable via mining node scanning.
🧃 Survival Systems
Hydration:
More aspects coming online now with triggers warnings when low.
Including supporting gameplay
Water Purifier:
Is now craftable via the Build Tool
Hydration Pack:
Now craftable
Added Hydration Task as part of survival training
🧍♂️ Player Movement
Added Dash Mechanic: (Testing Phase)
Double-tap movement + boost = Dash.
Works in both EVA & FPS modes.
Includes SFX and prevents spam.
Player is invulnerable during dash.
🚀 Ship Systems
Ship Hull/Armor health now persists between sessions.
Ships in new games start with damaged hull (story element - your task as always is to repair it )
Damage VFX Added (to be improved)
New Flyable Ship with interior added as a Story Element.
Ship Storage:
Can now eject items into space.
Can no longer transfer items to player if it exceeds inventory volume.
🔄 Inventory & Resource Systems
Items now:
Show % bar and capacity values (e.g., 50 / 100).
Have individual max capacity limits.
Recycling items now reflects reduced returns or no return if applicable.
Inventory Transfer:
Cleaner separation between Placing and Ejecting items.
Bug fixes and volume enforcement.
🔥 Plasma Harvester System Expansion
Introduced systems related to Plasma Collection and Handling:
Plasma Harvester is now craftable via build tool
Placed over a vent will cause the harvester to produce Plasma Canisters
Plasma Canisters can now be:
Moveable via the Tractor Tool only (not hand-collectable)
Transferred into Base Storage via the Transfer Dock.
Transfer Dock is now:
Fully buildable using the Build Tool.
Integrated into the base system with visual and functional tracking.
With proper plasma containment
