A major step toward deeper ship systems, smarter AI, and a more dynamic universe. This update introduces module damage gameplay loop, improved NPC behavior, and continued expansion of the early game experience.

⚠️ New Feature: Module Damage

  • Collision and Weapon damage can now impact ship modules

  • Ships are no longer just hull — systems can fail and malfunction independently

  • New Ship Status Readout:

    • Engine / Weapons / Shields

    • Status indicators: Green / Yellow / Red

  • Added Module Repair Button

🤖 AI & NPC Improvements

  • Added NPC Spawn Manager for streamable POIs

  • Updated NPC ships/hostiles now active in various POi's

  • Improved AI:

    • Navigation, Obstacle avoidance and Return to position/location logic

  • Reduced unintended collisions and self-destruction

🌌 World & Streaming

  • Start Area now partially converted to streamable content (5/8)

  • Added POI 4,5 and final POI for Early Access (Iteration still in progress)

  • Improved content streaming performance

  • Fixed issues with universe positioning system (Testing PhaseNew Tech [x] in settings)
  • POI doors now remain unlocked where appropriate

  • General polish and system integration
