What changed
- UI and audio
Two WM:T patches went live in the month of June! The biggest visual additions to the game are the Unit Broswer and Glossary learning tools. Read full patch info below: ______________________________________________________________ 24 June 2016 Announcements -Introducing the new Glossary! Search for and read the definitions for the unique terms found in WARMACHINE: Tactics! Balance Changes -No changes. Fixed Bugs -Fixed an issue on the Trainyard map where units could walk through the traincar doors while they were closed. -Large and medium base units now have less restricted movement around the walls in front of the deployment zone on the Cryx Depot map. -Trample attacks no longer have an arrow indicating facing at the trample location. Trample attacks do not allow for a change of facing at the end of the trample. -The Harbinger no longer has Immunity: Fire listed on her Unit Card. -The Butcher will no longer appear in a wounded pose during Mission 4. -Updated descriptions for Ground Pounder, Half-Jack Companion, Relentless Charge, Soulsplitter, and Ghostly. -Throws, Slams and Pushes will now knock enemies off cliffs, which will in turn do additional damage. -Advanced Tactics for the Warcasters in the Unit Browser no longer start at 0. Known Issues -Spawning Darius's Half Jacks into an Remains-In-Play effect may crash the game or cause a stuck activation. Please avoid spawning Half-Jack within RIP effects. -Enemy Cinerators in Mission 7 may become stuck if the player runs their army to the mine when the Mission begins. -Framerate may drop or hang during the AI turn on Single Player and Skirmish Matches with heavy troop numbers or systems with minimum required hardware. -The Free Strike Warning message may appear randomly if you cancel a movement that would incur a free strike and move a different unit. -A warjack's model may not despawn if killed while knocked down. -Rahn cannot target himself or friendly units with Telekinesis. -The Targeting panel of Siege's Ground Pounder ability does not allow the player to boost the ability, but it can still be boosted with hot keys. -Units may get stuck on the same square moving through one another inside Veil of Mists. -Cryx Reaper Warjack cannot buy extra attacks after using the Harpoon weapon. -Rare crash may occur on certain GPU/hardware configurations. -There are currently no Hotkey settings in the Options Menu. Keybindings can still be set in the in-game options menu. -Depth of Field setting currently does not function. -If you experience a crash, please email us with the circumstance of the crash, your dxdiag file, and your warmachinegame.log file. -Please check our Known Issues Mega List in the Bug Reports page on our forums for a full list of Known Issues. _______________________________________________________________ 8 June 2016 Announcements: -Introducing the Unit Browser! View the models, stats and skins for every unit in WARMACHINE: Tactics. Balance Changes -No changes. Fixed Bugs -Fixed an issue where the game would sometimes freeze during Mission 14. -Ravyn's Vortex of Destruction now appears in an affected unit's Status Effects. -The visual effect of Ravyn's Vortex of Destruction now properly vanishes when the spell ends. -The Cull Soul ability will now collect souls from units killed at the far corners of a unit's melee range with reach. -The Blind effect no longer blocks all special actions and attacks. -The Stormcall abilities should no longer be blocked from effects that prevent ranged attacks. -The Avatar of Menoth is now properly immune to disruption. -Units can no longer slam after changing facing. -Gorman's Grenade attacks no longer ignore line of sight. -Fixed a rare issue where the game would enter a stuck activation if an Exemplar Errant's Quick Work activated while in melee but not engaged with a target. Known Issues -Spawning Darius's Half Jacks into an Remains-In-Play effect may crash the game or cause a stuck activation. Please avoid spawning Half-Jack within RIP effects. -Enemy Cinerators in Mission 7 may become stuck if the player runs their army to the mine when the Mission begins. -Framerate may drop or hang during the AI turn on Single Player and Skirmish Matches with heavy troop numbers or systems with minimum required hardware. -Using assault on a target near cover may on rare occasions leave the UI hanging on a ranged attack button. -The Free Strike Warning message may appear randomly if you cancel a movement that would incur a free strike and move a different unit. -A warjack's model may not despawn if killed while knocked down. -Boosted damage rolls on Thresher will affect all enemies instead of just the primary target. -Quickwork does not activate on Ravyn after killing units with Thresher. -Rahn cannot target himself with Telekinesis. -The Targeting panel of Siege's Ground Pounder ability does not allow the player to boost the ability, but it can still be boosted with hot keys. -Rare crash may occur on certain GPU/hardware configurations. -There are currently no Hotkey settings in the Options Menu.
