VOID DIVER: Escape from the Abyss changes
First and foremost, we sincerely thank every Manager who played this demo version and left valuable feedback through the Steam community and discussion pages.
In a short period of time, so many of you saw the potential in our game, while also generously offering sharp advice to help us make it even better. We have read every single piece of feedback, and our team is currently organizing the improvements to be implemented in the full version based on your input, accelerating development as we go.
A detailed official roadmap containing specific new content will be revealed soon through a separate announcement.
Today, ahead of that, we'd like to first share how we're preparing to address the feedback that many of you have commonly raised.
1. Preparation Status on Frequently Received Feedback
Among the feedback we've received, we are prioritizing the areas deemed most urgent and important, and developing improvement plans accordingly.
(The items below will be implemented progressively as development progresses.)
Inventory and Item Management Convenience: We are optimizing features such as material item storage transfer, inventory scrolling, registered blueprint display, and more to ensure the flow between 'shop management' and 'exploration' remains seamless.
Controls and System Details: We are building an optimal environment tailored to each Manager's playstyle through multiple save slots, minimap marker functionality, key rebinding and official controller (gamepad) support, sprint toggle settings, borderless fullscreen, auto basic attack on left-click hold, and more.
2. Demo Version Save Data Transfer Notice
We'd like to address the question many of you have asked regarding whether demo version save data will carry over.
Currently, [VOID DIVER] is preparing extensive improvements and expansions across the entire system based on player feedback. As a result, unfortunately, the data from this demo version is expected to be incompatible with future updates and the full version.
We understand this may be disappointing news for those who have spent a long time enjoying the demo, but we hope you understand that this is an essential step toward delivering a more polished game.
However, our team is actively discussing internally a separate way to express our gratitude to those who played the demo at the time of the official launch.
