I want to walk you through everything that's in it - because there's a lot, and I don't want any of it to get buried in a patch note scroll
ZONE 05 IS HERE View store page
New zone, new boss, new enemies. VOIDWEAVER is the new boss and I'm really happy with how this fight turned out - Joe's music for it is something else. Wait until you hear it. 💪
Two new enemies join the roster: Ironclad and Voidout. Both introduce fresh challenges that’ll force you to rethink your approach, especially deeper into runs.. There's also a new enemy variant - Voltaic. These enemies can deploy EMPs that disable parts of your kit, forcing you to adapt on the fly and making them some of the most dangerous hostiles you’ll face. Yes, looking at you Frozen Rangers.
NEW WEAPON - SNIPER RIFLE
This one's been a long time coming. The sniper opens up a completely different way to play, and there are 4 new weapon chassis to unlock alongside it. If you've been running the same core setup for a while, this is your excuse to shake things up.
(And by the way, this is my favourite weapon so far!)
FIRE MODE REFRESH
All weapons now have their own tailored fire mode mods with different stats for each. This has generally given a buff to all fire mode mods and increased build diversity. Single-fire mode can now genuinely turn your automatic weapons into powerful rifles. Likewise, burst fire modes can turn your SMG into a force to be reckoned with. I’ve had a lot of fun experimenting with these changes, and I hope you do too.

You asked for more Fragmented Zones - they're in. One of them contains a new schematic worth hunting down. Keep the feedback coming on Discord, it genuinely shapes where this goes next.
NEW ANOMALY: STORM
Another new anomaly is in. I'll let you discover that one yourself.
COMMUNITY SUGGESTION CORE CHANGE - BOSS PILLARS Steam post image
This one is a hot topic, and I have seen it frequently pop up in the community discussion. The boss pillars (used to obtain destruction chunks) had a core issue, they took your attention away from the boss itself. In a fight where avoiding attacks is so important, this created an understandable frustration. Now, boss attacks themselves will release tetherable debris. This has streamlined the boss fight experience, keeping your focus on the fight whilst preserving what made it work before.
Additionally, tetherable debris have received additional visibility improvements, and are generally much easier to spot, tether and hurl back at the boss.

GAME IMPROVEMENTS
Added tutorial sections to more clearly introduce some gameplay mechanics
Altered staggering tutorial so it now requires you to acquire full health, more clearly highlighting the combat loop to new players
Added section that shows the slight staggering ability of the grenade
Added section that requires you to dash through a wall of projectiles, showing i-frame capability of the dash.
Improved wall run detection and responsiveness
FORTIST will now destroy its summons on death
BLOCKMAW's laser attack has been made more readable
Zone 1 elevator shaft received some visual improvements
"Body mod" renamed to "Passive mod" across all instances
Improved responsiveness when firing at low frame rates
Improved responsiveness when firing single-fire weapons
Broadcast system voice received some additional lines for act 2
Various low level optimisations
Skirmisher mod reverted to default spawn rate values
BALANCING
Enemy armour health reduced
Mini-boss summons are no longer farmable for credits (sorry!)
Increased elite enemy presence on normal difficulty
BUG FIXES
Fixed bug where run start number indicator would block click inputs
Fix for Jump Stack exploit
Fix for POI in zone 1 where a schematic was unreachable without the grapple unlocked
AI pathing issues fixed
Fixed bug where Root Access achievement wouldn't unlock - if you were hit by this one, opening the hacks menu should pop it for you
IMPORTANT - PRICE IS GOING UP ON AUGUST 22
I've kept the price where it is for as long as I could - it felt like the right thing to do for everyone who jumped in early and put their trust in the game. That means a lot. But with everything that's been added and everything still coming in the second half of 2026, the price is going up on August 22 - and I wanted to give you a proper heads up.
