Voice of Chernobyl changes
Hey everyone!
This is the sixth hotfix for V0.2.1P6 which includes as usual more bug fixes and slight gameplay adjustments, and we will get to talking what has been fixed, added or modified!
Weapons
Desert eagle nerf, more recoil and less fire rate
Grenades now handled by server entirely, reducing weird "freezes"
Grenades shouldnt clip through walls anymore
Grenades now will be replaced by fists properly when empty
Weapons switching on other clients should not have a weird delay anymore
Fixed a glitch where in mid-air and running, the aiming sound would spam if you were holding the aim input key
Movement
New ground detection system, way better than previous system and you won't get stuck in surfaces
Better slope movement so that your momentum doesn't die randomly and is consistent
Better stair / step detection which improves the movement even more
Sliding sound should play on other clients too
Sliding initiate sound won't be cutoff by other sounds anymore
Changed audio volume and range when changing movement state
Reduced slightly backpack sounds when walking
Improved "can change movement state" condition so that clipping through obstacles shouldn't happen as much
Survival
Shouldn't take ages to load anymore with slower devices, loading times have been optimized
Item usage changes
When dropping an item when used, the item will be put away
Items can be put away with scroll wheel / weapon input keybinds
Overall improvement and several fixes
Removed "can't use item when climbing ladders"
Removed "you already have an item in your hands"
Removed holster animation on items (will be readded to hardcore mode)
UI changes
Fixed a glitch when dragging an item, it would show up in another location for a frame
Improved "item description" text so that each usage has their own proper correct display (liters, amount, percentage, and more)
Crafting and car hood slight modifications to look nicer
Character preview shouldn't have fog anymore as during foggy weather it would completely turn the character into a solid color
Weapons that do not use magazines will show how much bullets (for the gun) in your inventory are in total instead of "reserve ammo"
Weapons that do use magazine will just show you much bullets are in the current loaded magazine (won't show "reserve ammo" anymore)
Improved death screen
Better handling reloading for guns that insert bullets, instead of you having to press R continuously, you just press it once and it will put all the bullets, just like in the core game, and it can be cancelled with the fire button
Dropping clothing that has inventory space will drop the items that cannot fit in your inventory
Fixed a glitch where clients would load or save the host's time of day (causing problems with the weather, or you'd have the last server you played on as the time of day and weather information)
Higher gas tank spawns at gas stores
Fixed tree shader glitch (hopefully, it can occur sometimes) where the bark would be unlit from far distances
Fixed snow shader glitch where if one particle was lit, all the other particles would be lit too equally
Fixed a glitch where if you died and left a room, your clothes and guns would be still saved
Changed all notes
User Interface
Fixed an issue where in the round over screen the profile pictures wouldn't load properly
New blood overlay
Turning off UI will disable the death screen too and won't magically turn on when you die anymore
Vehicle
Fixed an issue where vehicles could not be driven on some occasions
The "wheels moving on dirt" sound will always play instead of just playing at low speeds
If you now honk, and get out of the vehicle, it will automatically stop honking 2 seconds after you have left it
Engine and honk sound range has been increased
Fixed an issue where if a player disconnected their seat would be still occupied (most noticable with drivers, leaving behind a ghost car)
Fixed an issue where vehicle velocity would contribute to weapon bob velocity
Miscellaneous
Changed bunker normal and bunker snow slightly and the lighting in them too (includes main menu background)
"That hurt" achievement earnt only by guns (excluding pellets based guns like shotguns) and given 2 seconds after hit (if player is still alive)
Better flashlight changes so that now you can properly see where someone is looking at, and in general looks way better
Fixed (or at the very least, reduced greatly) the "double-kill" glitch
Hopefully fixed a glitch with custom playermodels where players could not die due to hitbox IDs mismatch
Workshop updating items has been improved
Workshop uploading items will subscribe to the item once it has been entirely uploaded
Mods that can move files and can load scripts (ex; plugin loaders) will now be cleaned up properly when disabled or deleted
Slight modifications to networking, servers will handle some stuff instead of clients
Claustrophobia's building hitboxes improved
Reduced (hopefully) Player.log size when playing on Forward or Vertex Lit
V-Sync is turned on by default for new players
Fixed "Hey" taunt spam glitch

I'm probably going to either make a new hotfix if some more issues are found, or make a patch that improves the game even more by adding additional content (like chances of some maps and guns being redone)
