Thanks for waiting, everyone!! Our Demo’s second update is finally here! This patch mainly updates all English descriptions for status effects, fixes a bunch of bugs, and improves how the heroine’s Sanity is calculated. You should now be able to better predict Sanity changes during combat, making the overall experience smoother.

This will also be the last major update for the demo. From here on, we’ll be focusing fully on developing the full release.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed several incorrect effect description texts.

  • Fixed an issue where opening detailed status info during the end-of-turn phase would freeze the game.

  • Fixed an issue where enhanced Carnage added new keywords that didn’t show their explanations in combat.

  • Fixed “Remove X-type card” options being selectable even when you didn’t own that card type.

  • Fixed max HP changes in dialogue choices not showing up in the top-right notification panel.

  • Fixed missing text when losing max HP or when an effect required specific card types.

  • Fixed “ Ymir Avatar: Assimilate” not lowering Sanity when healing from consumed Carnage.

  • Fixed Ymir effects (“Sever” / “Erode”) not triggering when you damaged yourself through your own cards or blessings.

  • Fixed Ymir effects triggering incorrectly when attacking.

  • Fixed character portrait not resetting when reselecting a character.

  • Fixed “Authority Enforcer” not reducing Intention numbers properly.

  • Fixed “Authority Enforcer” and “Lethal Mark” not decreasing stacks as intended.

  • Fixed MC’s 1st-tier ultimate skipping discard when exactly two cards were in hand.

  • Fixed incorrect side-quest text descriptions.

  • Fixed incorrect rewards in the Nun event.

  • Fixed some blessing description errors.

Adjustments & Improvements

  • Adjusted turn-start logic: derived effects will now trigger only after Sanity checks, preventing “Charge Up” / “Drain” from resetting too early.

  • Reworked the enhanced effects for:

    • Ymir Avatar: Sever

    • Ymir Avatar: Assimilate
