She's also been told about a camp of the Order of Purification, which is best avoided. The fanatics don't like the Church Demons, of which Vitta is a member. So she decides to wait out the cordon with an old friend. Now at this point, her monologue has changed and differs from the first player's. From it, the player learns that the Order of Purification doesn't attack in front of witnesses.

Vitta Lucis - Development Diary - Nonlinearity: View store page Hey, my name is Sergey and I am developing the game Vitta Lucis.

This adventure follows a mercenary with superhuman strength. You'll experience dynamic action with character switching. Your squad operates independently, while you control one hero. Your playstyle depends on your character's abilities and your squad's composition.

In this video, I want to show an example of nonlinearity in a game. Yes, your actions will influence the further development of the story.

At this point in the game, Vitta is heading to a town called Vindicta. A road sign tells you to head east. Players may have different paths, though, and I try to accommodate that.

Let's take the first player, who wants to explore the west first. Vitta is surprised by this, as she realizes she's going the wrong way. But there she can visit an old friend, Krivda. In fact, that's where they decide to head, toward the cemetery on the hill.

Let's take the second player, who decides to head towards the city. But Vitta learns that the road is blocked, and she's passing right by the village.

Let's take a third player, who initially heads west, like the first. But then decides to head east, like the second. After receiving all this information, the player will hear a separate monologue from Vitta. Knowledge of the fanatics in the village will influence the rest of the story.

Yes, you won't be able to hear all the options in one playthrough. You can also skip a lot, but this won't interrupt the playthrough.

Add this game to your wishlist - it's really important to me. All the links can be found in the description of this video. Subscribe, leave reactions and comments, and share with your friends. It really helps me and motivates me to keep going. Thank you for watching this development diary.
