Villainville changes
This update is all about the bugs. Most of these were shared by playtesters, so many thanks to all of you with your sharp eyes and dedication!
Issues we fixed in this update:
Fix locations so George and Crim aren’t in same fishing spot
'WickedStepmother' Whack a Mole winner name doesn’t fit in UI space
UI inventory text is hidden on Steamdeck
Dropped tree items are hidden in hill near Whack a Mole
Carrot (and beet) juice are not giftable
Tree drops in graveyard are landing beyond the world collider
If raining, hoed ground should go immediately to show as watered
Heebie-Jeebie meter should refill with a full night (six hours) sleep
Seed type icon not showing on seed bag in player equipped item slot in lower left corner
When using copper watering can
If three garden squares are selected and one is not tilled, watering will turn it into tilled land
One square in the garden plot will not highlight in order to be watered (both for copper and rusty watering cans)
When planting seeds, when the PC puts the seed bag away using B, but the seed bag is still shown in handslot UI, the PC can push A and the character will go through the animations and plant seeds without the 3D model of a seed bag being shown
When selecting inventory items, if you move too far right it switches as if in tab mode to new UI tabs
Switch the affect of the A and B buttons to be more Steam Deck compatible
Phew! Lots more to do, but it always feels good to stamp out a bunch of bugs. You know what I'm going to ask next, right? That you keep the bug reports coming! We only have about ten days of this playtest left--as it closes the end of July--and we've a report of one significant quest-breaking bug we haven't figured out how to repeat or trigger, so please report anything and everything you see needed to be fixed!
And after all that, we added tiny non-usable wings to the back of our Easter Bunnes. Because they asked please.
Steam post image Once you've seen the wings in-game, can lend us poor divided devs your vote? Are the wings too small? And if you want them larger, how much bigger would you want them?
Examples of size opinions might be:
Big enough to carry off an elephant
Just large enough to see them when face-to-face with the bunne
I hate the wings! Easter Bunnes lay eggs, wings are silly!
