Veterans: Napoleonic Wars changes
Dear Generals,
Veterans: Napoleonic Wars is a tactical real-time strategy game set in Napoleon's Italian Campaign of 1796–1797. There is no base building. Command thousands of soldiers in huge historical battles, where every formation, every volley, and every cavalry charge decides the outcome.
Join the playtest
The playtest is now open on Steam, and you can request access today. Take command of large regiments of infantry, cavalry, and artillery, and lead them through the campaign:
Tactics, not base building – Move your battalions in line, column, and square formations. Use heavy cuirassiers to break enemy lines, or light infantry to ambush from forests.
Morale, fatigue, and line of sight matter – Tired or shaken soldiers will not hold their position. Plan your moves carefully and protect your veterans across battles.
Pre-Battle Army Management – Visit the Arsenal to buy new weapons and equip your infantry, cavalry, and artillery to make sure your army is ready for war.
This is a work-in-progress demo of the game. It features a limited slice of the content planned for the full release, and some mechanics or systems are still unfinished and will improve in future builds. Please keep this in mind while playing.
Your feedback during the playtest is a key part of development and directly affects how the game evolves. After playing, please share your thoughts in Steam discussions or on our Discord server.
Request access to the playtest and wishlist Veterans: Napoleonic Wars on Steam to stay updated on future builds and development progress.
