addedBig changes have landed in the clouds of Venus! This update focuses on core systems like pathfinding, colonist needs, and construction logic β making your flying city smarter, more stable, and easier to manage. Here's what's new:
changedπ§ Smarter Pathfinding (NavMesh Overhaul) Iβve completely reworked our NPC pathfinding! πΉ Switched from a grid-based system to a navmesh, eliminating awkward dead zones and improving how NPCs move around walls and interiors. πΉ Some zigzagging or curved paths may still appear β I'll continuing to fine-tune this.
fixedποΈ Construction System Fixes & Improvements Building logic got a major tune-up: πΉ The Details Panel now correctly shows in-progress construction info, including missing resources! πΉ Ghost buildings caused by deconstructing unfinished structures are gone. Platforms are freed properly. πΉ You can now safely remove buildings waiting for construction. πΉ The Deconstruct button is disabled during the building animation and re-enabled afterward. πΉ Starport bug fixed: Removing a Starport no longer leaves fenced holes β platforms are restored and resources become accessible again.

addedπ§ Colonist Stats & Needs Overhauled Survival got smarter β and fairer: πΉ Colonists now have four working core stats: Hunger, Thirst, Tiredness, and Health. πΉ No more instant death from hunger! Now hunger affects health over time, giving you more warning and reaction time. πΉ New alert system for yellow/red warnings on all stats (hunger, thirst, tiredness) and health. πΉ Water Fountains (for thirst) and Beds (for tiredness) are now essential. πΉ Reworked Behaviour AI ensures colonists balance work with their needs much more reliably. β οΈ Known issue: Colonists may clip into beds when sleeping β fix in progress.
addedπ₯ Camera Controls π Camera rotation with Q & E is now inverted by default based on player feedback. π οΈ A toggle has been added in Input Settings if you prefer the old style.
