We're thrilled to see so many of you enjoying the long-awaited Character Creator. It's been one of the most requested features since our January Early Access launch, and we wanted to give it the time it deserved so the final result does your vampire fantasies justice.

We'll keep improving it with smaller additions, but for now we're happy with where it stands.

So, what's next?

Smoother, Faster, Better

One thing that keeps coming up in discussions and reviews is performance, and that's where we're turning our focus next. We recently shipped a major optimisation patch that targeted and improved many issues on the CPU side, but we know there's more to do, particularly when it comes to GPU performance.

To make sure the game is ready to grow even more, we need to give optimisation our full attention.

In other words, the roadmap and any big content additions go on hold while we concentrate on getting this right. We expect to return with a major optimisation patch around early September, then pick the roadmap back up from there.

How can you help?

If you're experiencing performance issues, please report them to us in Steam Discussions, on our Discord, or through the help desk. Include your device specs and, ideally, a video of the problem.

This helps us immensely in targeting and resolving these issues!
